During the 2013–14 season, he averaged 8.5 points and 3.6 rebounds in 18.8 minutes while starting 10 of the 19 games in which he played. On November 9, 2013, he scored a career-high 22 points against South Dakota State. He contributed four assists against La Sierra (12/21/13) and grabbed eight rebounds against Long Beach State (11/14/13).

Throughout the season, Ben made 19 appearances as a reserve, averaging 10.5 MPG, 2.3 PPG, and 2.3 RPG. On November 18 against UNCW, he scored a season-high seven points.
