Chet Holmgren’s career in high school basketball started at Minnehaha Academy, where he averaged 6.2 points per game as a freshman and helped the team win two consecutive Class 2A state titles. With averages of 18.6 points and 11 rebounds per game in his sophomore campaign, he showed off a stunning improvement and won another state championship.
After the season, Holmgren performed exceptionally well with Grassroots Sizzle, winning the MVP award and improving his standing in the 2021 class.
